“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:28.

DOMINATE.

This is a word that makes a lot of people nervous, yet it is what the Lord expects you to do in your business. You are to be a major influencer everywhere you go.

One of the things that disturbs me is to see and feel the immense fear and insecurity so many Christians are carrying. This insecurity and inadequacy leaves you hesitating to walk in the fullness of the power, dominion and authority in which you have been created to operate.

It is easy to confuse meekness with weakness. These are not the same thing. To be meek means to be humble in the immense gifting, power and authority Jesus has delegated to you. To be meek means to be clear about all your life experience has to offer your walk with the Lord and to give everything you have been given to the Kingdom of God. It also means realizing that you can do nothing without Christ and everything with Him.

It is time to release anything that is holding you back from being a major influence and dominating force in every area of your life. And fear is the first thing that has to go. You can do this without speaking a single word. When you walk in the power of the Lord with no holding back, the world takes notice and you do not have to draw attention to yourself, the Lord will draw men unto you because you are representing Him and lifting up His name.

Here are some steps to guide you in walking in your dominance:

1.  Identify what is keeping you from expressing the full power of Jesus in your life. What makes you feel less-than, inadequate and insecure?
2. Identify the lies from your past that you have come to believe to be true. These are agreements you have unknowingly made with Satan and they must be identified and broken or else you are giving Satan legal spiritual right to wreak havoc in your life. Have you been struggling with not feeling like you are enough, worthy of the best, or deserving of the immense blessings of the Lord? It’s time to tell the truth about what you are thinking in the privacy of your thoughts. After all, what you truly believe is what shows up in your world.
3. Speak directly to your fear. Cast fear out by speaking directly to it and commanding it to leave your mind, body and spirit in the name of Jesus.
4. Replace the lying and limiting beliefs with truth from the scripture and say these things out loud as often as possible throughout your day until your mind lines up with the Truth.
5. Don’t hold back or apologize for walking in the power of Jesus within you. Allow His voice to lead you at all times so you remain in full submission to His will in your life.
6. If you are still carrying insecurities, get help! As a business owner, your insecurity is a disservice to those you have been called to. Fear and insecurity is not of Jesus and it must be dealt with immediately.

It is your time to move forward in your business without fear or anything else ever stopping you again. I pray that this article gives you the nudge you need to fully step into the realm of fearlessness and move into business dominance. It’s ON!

One day last year my sister, who owns a business of her own, said to me, “Ericka, your sheer output astounds me.” As I continued to train more and more business owners and ministers in building thriving organizations, they often asked me, “Ericka, how do you produce so much?”

I begin to notice that most people are great starters, but not great finishers.

This is one of the biggest visionary challenges of all – learning to focus through on a project to the end.

This may not be an issue of procrastination. It could be that your completion muscles are not fully developed.

How many brilliant ideas and world-changing concepts have you thought of over the years that have not manifested? How many times have you had a great idea that never materialized? A new speaking packet? Website? Book? Article? Filing project? Budget overhaul? Job description for your future assistant or team member? Contacting your list of potential clients? A new product?

Completion is not something you naturally have; it is a skill that needs developing and perfecting. The art of completion works the same way as beginning a new work out plan and developing new muscles. The more you practice, the better you will become. Until one day you are a project-completing machine.

There is a way for you to learn the art of completion so remaining focused through to the end of a project becomes easy and enjoyable. Here is the step-by-step process I use to master completion:

1. Identify the areas in your business (and life) in which you have incompletions. List out each of these projects and tasks on one column on a piece of paper.
2. In the second column, write the result that completing that particular project or task will bring in your business or life.
3. Highlight the tasks that have the most potential to help you reach your goals. Especially those goals that will increase your cash flow so you can hire the help you need to attain your goals. Limit these to no more than three incompletions.
4. Choose the incompletion that will make the most difference to your bottom line when completed.
5. Ask yourself, “How many hours will it take me to complete this project (task)? Then, ask yourself, “What is the first thing I need to do?” When you have the first thing written down, ask yourself, “What is the next thing I need to do to complete this project?” Before you know it, you will have an action list from which to work. Continue until you have three to five steps on your list. Stop there. Complete your list and then, and only then, add more to your action list.
6. Set aside small blocks of time several times a week in which you work on the steps to complete the projects or task. The sooner you would like to complete this task dictates how much of your daily and weekly time you give to the project.
7. Create a reward system for yourself so you stick to your time blocks. Perhaps for every three action items you complete, you will treat yourself to a new accessory, a massage or spa afternoon, or give yourself a day to sleep in.
8. Stay tuned-in to the incredible feeling you will have when you complete this project or task so you can remain focused forward with excitement and anticipation.

The process to manifestation is awesome! Once you begin to complete some business-changing projects that positively impact your bottom line, you will be hooked!  Happy completing!

I have grown tired of seeing the success of secular women’s businesses while Christian women’s businesses all-too-often lag behind in influence and earnings. You may even find yourself gleaning from their secular practices while trying to uphold your Christian beliefs and teachings. I am a true believer that anything that succeeds in the secular world should be surpassed by Christians because we have something they do not have – Jesus and His Kingdom wealth.

Kingdom wealth is about having an overflow of abundance and prosperity so you can grow the Kingdom of God.  Kingdom wealth is not just limited to financial increase; it also includes an increase in your time, energy, brilliance, knowledge, wisdom, certainty, ease, revelation, power, and unprecedented favor. Kingdom wealth differs from earthly wealth in that it comes from the Lord, is directed by the Lord and is not limited by the natural realm.

You may often hear the word “Kingdom,” but do you truly understand what it means for Christian women business owners? There are two Kingdoms mentioned in the New Testament; the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is the already-done Kingdom that exists in the Heavenly realm and holds within it everything you need to excel and prosper upon the Earth. It is already perfected and complete. Through your spiritual walk with the Lord, He provides instruction and direction on how to access the secrets held in the Kingdom of Heaven to be manifested upon the Earth as the Kingdom of God.

It is critical that you openly release the wealth of the Lord that is locked inside of you so you are not perceived like the poor wise man in Ecclesiastes 9: 14 – 17. This poor wise man held the wisdom that delivered his city from the attack of a much more powerful army but was not remembered due to his lack of wealth. You hold infinite amounts of gifting and brilliance yet may hesitate in offering it to others in a way that truly values your expertise, experience and know-how. As a result, far too many Christian women working out of their homes are producing at a level that is beneath that which you are capable.

What will your business look like if you walked in the full power of who you are as a daughter sitting at the right hand of Christ in Heavenly places?

What will it look like when you truly embrace the Father’s love and know you already have permission to fully harness the power of the Kingdom of God that resides within you?

This column is all about harnessing the power of the Kingdom of Heaven to unlock the wealth that it holds for your business, ministry and life. I’m excited to teach on the topic of Kingdom wealth because without you releasing the fullness of your gifting into the world, the Kingdom of God will not be complete.

It is my prayer and intention that this column catapults your business into higher and higher levels of personal, financial and spiritual prosperity. I was watching a Superbowl pre-game show about Tom Brady, the quarterback of the New England Patriots football team. It highlighted his relationship with his long-time quarterback coach. He first met his coach when he was twelve years old and he has called him after every game he has played since to share with him how he can improve.

This really struck me. It reminded me of how we must consistently have someone in business who sharpens our iron (see Proverbs 27:17).

I had just prayed to God to bring other women in business who are called at the level to which I’m called and beyond to challenge me to make the necessary leaps to point out areas of improvement.

The Lord answered my prayers with Cheryl, a sister in Christ (whose name has been changed) who I have just recently met and with whom I felt an immediate connection. We have similar goals, similar gifts, similar HUGE vision and a similar magnitude of calling. Cheryl enthusiastically embraced my vision and when we connect for our weekly call, we always end up shouting with joy and thankfulness for finding each other. Her capacity to be authentically excited for me was evident and she came from a place of confidence, certainty and love.

Cheryl even took the time to tune into my recent webinar. When we connected for our weekly call she had something she wanted to share with me. Little did I know that it was a list of things I can do to improve my presentation. And if that was not enough, she shared how her husband was not impressed with my webinar and exactly why he wasn’t impressed.

When I hung up the phone from the conversation I had to sit and process how I was feeling for a moment – okay, it was more than a moment – it was about 20 minutes.

Then, the strangest thing happened. I was so grateful and open to her feedback because it had no hints of jealously, only a true desire to see my message reach the masses to whom I am called. She was absolutely right!

Then, I heard the Lord say, “You asked for someone to sharpen your iron.” I had to laugh out loud! Coming from a background of having to overcome deep insecurities and a family that demanded so much of me that I often felt like I didn’t measure up in my younger years, this was a breakthrough!

If you are ready for your vision to soar, you need at least one person who can give you honest, loving and excellent feedback so you can do what you do even better. If you already have your Cheryl, be grateful. If you don’t, it is time to ask the Lord to bring her forth and move into a whole new level of success and achievement.

As women in business, we do not always pay close attention to the numbers. Far too often we have not plotted out exactly what we are doing to do to make the monthly income to cover both our business expenses and to pay ourselves the salary we really need.

The ability to easily create the income you need in your business is called rainmaking. You are the rainmaker of your business. With the Lord being the Master rainmaker, the responsibility of making rain in your business has been delegated to you from Jesus, the Master Rainmaker.

Making rain in your business is a requirement that you must master and focus on daily. While women are usually good at creating connections, we are not always masterful in turning those connections into income. This is the gift of the rainmaker.

Yet, you may desire to delegate the role of the rainmaker before you have even mastered it. In order for the Lord to bring you junior rainmakers, you first must become a master at making rain and creating income and momentum in your business. Otherwise, you have given this important and critical piece of the vision to someone to whom it was not assigned from the Lord.

The first step to being an masterful rainmaker is to realize and fully embrace the fact that you are the rainmaker in your business. Then, you must take on the characteristics of a rainmaker:

1. She is clear about power of rainmaking and walks in it with ease and grace.
2. She does whatever it takes to master rainmaking.
3. Once she masters rainmaking, she teaches others how to make rain in order to expand and multiply her efforts.
4. She is diligent and consistent about her rainmaking activities and does them on a daily basis.
5. She knows that making rain is her primary function and everything else is secondary and supports her rainmaking process.

In order to move forward as the rainmaker, it is imperative that you know exactly what dollar amount is required for your business to thrive. The next step is to figure out how you are going to generate that income.

It is imperative that you clearly understand the difference between support functions and Income Producing Activties. All too often, you may spend your time getting ready, getting set, but not actually creating income. It is time to make the full shift into being comfortable producing income.

When are you doing to get your rainmaking done? It is not enough to know what you need to make, you must block out the time you need to execute your IPA’s. The key is to do your IPA’s each and every day, even if you have a full-client or contract-load.
This is when business becomes exciting! This is when you deeply connect with the God given power that is inside of you to be the very best you are called to be. This is a place that many women never make the conversion from talking about what we desire to do with our businesses and moving it from a hobby-level endeavor to a fully capitalized and functioning business. What a great adventure!

I was having a conversation with a potential TAG member today and she asked me what TAG was all about – what were we committed to? I explained that we are all about providing the tactical information, guidance and support that will result in every TAG member business creating six or seven figure businesses that make a huge impact in their industry, community and even the world.

We are all about working your business with no limits and soaring together to new heights to take the isolation and frustration out of building a business. It goes far beyond the inspiration and encouragement to providing the specific teachings that you immediately take back into your workspace and implement for immediate results.

Participating TAG business are going to a whole new level!

We had an incredible meeting last night! We met in the more intimate setting of a restaurant and were able to get to know each other and our businesses on a new level. We shared our 2011 goals and I have to say that I am so excited to hear all that TAG members are going to be achieving in 2011!

We shared goals that ranged from clothing lines going international, number of books being sold, elected offices that are being pursued, and thousands and thousands of lives being impacted by the messages the Lord has placed within us.

As I looked around the table, I knew in my spirit that I was looking at a team of women who hold the power to change the world.

We unveiled the new membership levels and what each level entails. We are working behind the scenes to truly be a full provider of the key things your business needs to keep you freed up to operate in your gifting, which is where the revenue is. We will be continually adding to our membership levels as we kick off the new structure on April 1st before our next meeting on the 15th of April.

We learned about the hidden power of the Product Pyramid and how working our businesses with this model explodes your profits and reaches thousands upon thousands of people around the world. You could literally see the “A-ha” moments and the light bulbs of brilliance going off in the minds and spirits of each woman around the table. This model enables you to profit from reaching many, many more people than the traditional business model allows you to reach.

We are so excited to be guiding each and every TAG member through this incredible structure that will position you as an expert in your field, release all of the wisdom and revelation the Lord has placed within you and produce good fruit in your business; all allowing you to operate in your full power, dominion and authority in the industry to which you have been called.

We are focusing on getting the local businesses producing good fruit and then we will be sharing our meeting recordings and teachings with you.
